On Saturday, 19 September 2015, in the evening at 21:18, in Jurbarko district municipality, Veliuonos town, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 51.60), at a public-transport stop, a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
