On Saturday, 26 September 2015, in the afternoon at 16:24, in Vilnius, on I. Kanto al. near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Lexus IS 220 d. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.13‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
