On Saturday, 26 September 2015, in the evening at 20:35, in Kaunas, on Ringuvos street near No. 62, a Chrysler Grand Voyager hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Chrysler (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.11‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
