On Saturday, 3 October 2015, in the morning at 5:20, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Paliūniškis–Vabalninkas national road (kilometre 2.80), an Audi A8 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
