On Sunday, 4 October 2015, at night at 1:30, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 38.75), an Audi A4 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
