On Saturday, 3 October 2015, in the afternoon at 16:58, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vėžionys–Dainava–Pabarė–Butrimonys regional road (kilometre 19.52), at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra, a Volvo V70 and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Opel (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection and entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober. The 18-year-old driver of the Volvo had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
