On Tuesday, 29 September 2015, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on Žeimių street near No. 66A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 74-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
