On Sunday, 11 October 2015, at night at around 1:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on Lietavos street near No. 21, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4, a BMW 528, a Ford Focus and a Chrysler 300M. One person was injured — a 38-year-old passenger of the Audi (severely injured, hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
