On Tuesday, 13 October 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Druskininkai–Leipalingis–Seirijai national road (kilometre 10.42), a BMW 316I rolled over. One person was injured — the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.60‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
