On Thursday, 15 October 2015, in the afternoon at 16:38, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Paliūniškis–Vabalninkas national road (kilometre 16.22), an Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
