On Friday, 16 October 2015, in the morning at 10:40, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 15, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FAR XF 105.460 and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the DAF (35 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
