On Thursday, 22 October 2015, at night at around 2:00, in Vilnius, on Linkmenų street, at the junction with Krokuvos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna, a Volkswagen Jetta and a Subaru Legacy Outback. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
