On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the morning at 8:23, in Klaipėda, on Pilies street near No. 3, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz C220 and a Renault Trafic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (1.32‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
