On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the evening at 18:09, in Rokiškio district municipality, Juodupės town, on Pergalės street near No. 8, in a yard, an Audi 80 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 24-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
