On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the evening at 18:52, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 30.81), a head-on collision occurred. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
