On Tuesday, 3 November 2015, in the afternoon at 15:09, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl., at the junction with Baltijos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco AS440S42, a Schmitz SKO 24/L and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Iveco (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
