On Thursday, 5 November 2015, at night at around 23:00, in Skuodo district municipality, Barstyčių town, on Sedos street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Seat Alhambra. One person was injured — a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW. He was drunk (1.05‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
