On Thursday, 12 November 2015, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 64.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault HD 210.16, a Renault and a Schmitz Cargobull S.CS24-13.62. One person was injured — the 31-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the driver of the Renault HD 210.16 (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
