On Saturday, 21 November 2015, in the morning at 10:21, in Raseinių district municipality, Gėluvos village, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 8.53), a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 27-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. A 27-year-old pedestrian was drunk (2.03‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
