On Monday, 23 November 2015, in the evening at 20:30, in Kaunas, on Lygioji street near No. 19, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Ford Mondeo, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.03‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
