On Tuesday, 24 November 2015, in the evening at 18:17, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street near No. 12, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Transporter and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
