On Sunday, 29 November 2015, at night at 3:35, in Šiauliai, on Panevėžio street near No. 4A, a Mercedes-Benz 250 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.90‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
