On Monday, 30 November 2015, in the evening at 19:22, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl., at the junction with Svajonės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Ducato, a BMW 320D and an Audi A8. Three people were injured — a 52-year-old passenger of the Fiat (hospitalized), a 24-year-old passenger of the Fiat (hospitalized) and a 26-year-old passenger of the Fiat (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 52-year-old passenger of the Fiat, who committed other traffic rule violations. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
