On Tuesday, 1 December 2015, at night at around 23:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Ažulomis–Šalčininkai–Milvydai regional road (kilometre 1.02), a BMW 525 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.61‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
