On Friday, 4 December 2015, in the evening at 20:18, in Vilnius, on M. K. Paco street, at the junction with Pavasario street, a Toyota Land Cruiser hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 87-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by a 87-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
