On Sunday, 6 December 2015, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 134.60), a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
