On Monday, 7 December 2015, in the evening at 20:27, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai national road (kilometre 92.32), a MAN 10.185 registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the MAN (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.06‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
