Drunk, unlicensed Opel driver in crash with Ford on the Vievis–Aukštadvaris road
On Monday, 7 December 2015, in the evening at 20:45, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vievis–Aukštadvaris national road (kilometre 16), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra and a Ford Mondeo. One person was injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Ford (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Opel, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. She was drunk (2.60‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
