On Wednesday, 9 December 2015, in the morning at 8:56, in Zarasų district municipality, on Šaltupės street near No. 36, a Chevrolet Captiva hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 86-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip.
