On Saturday, 19 December 2015, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a Nissan Almera Tino hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Nissan (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
