On Saturday, 19 December 2015, in the evening at 20:20, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a BMW 530 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
