On Saturday, 19 December 2015, in the evening at 22:40, in Kretingos district municipality, on A. Salio street near No. 5, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Nissan Primera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules and failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.00‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
