On Sunday, 20 December 2015, at night at 3:20, in Šilutės district municipality, on Laisvės street, at the junction with Piliakalnio street, an Audi 100 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi, who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs.
