On Monday, 21 December 2015, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Latvių street near No. 50B, at the junction with Vytauto street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and a Saab. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
