On Tuesday, 22 December 2015, in the morning at 7:41, in Vilniaus district municipality, Riešės village, on Beržų street, at the junction with Miško street, a Nissan Leopard hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 50-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Nissan (13 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
