On Thursday, 24 December 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Sausio 13-osios street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Primera and a Skoda Fabia registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
