On Thursday, 24 December 2015, in the evening at 17:39, in Anykščių district municipality, on Vilniaus street near No. 8, a Subaru Legacy Outback hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Subaru (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
