On Friday, 15 January 2016, in the evening at 17:21, in Šiaulių city municipality, on Dainų street near No. 51, a Mazda 3 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. The accident was caused by a 52-year-old pedestrian, who committed other traffic rule violations, committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc. and was crossing the carriageway where prohibited.
