On Saturday, 16 January 2016, in the afternoon at 14:55, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių skg. street, at the junction with Vakarinis aplinkkelis street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 518 and a Toyota Camry. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
