On Saturday, 16 January 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Telšių district municipality, Nevarėnų town, on Telšių street near No. 1, at the junction with Artojų street, an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
