On Friday, 29 January 2016, in the evening at 19:54, in Tauragės district municipality, on the local road, an Audi A6 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
