On Tuesday, 2 February 2016, in the evening at 17:18, in Kretingos district municipality, Kretingsodžio village, on Šiaulių pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford KA and a Honda CR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.51‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
