On Thursday, 4 February 2016, in the evening at 18:10, in Kauno district municipality, Raudondvario village, on Instituto street, at the junction with J. Naujalio street, a Skoda Octavia hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 46-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Skoda (19 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
