On Thursday, 4 February 2016, in the evening at 21:51, in Utenos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 150), a Renault Premium 420.24 registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Renault (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
