On Thursday, 4 February 2016, in the evening at 18:10, in Tauragės district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 28, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Hilux and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Toyota (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
