On Saturday, 6 February 2016, in the afternoon at 12:05, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žalioji street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Daewoo Lanos and a Lexus RX 350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Daewoo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
