On Friday, 5 February 2016, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Uosio street near No. 12/3, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra Sports Tourer and a Volkswagen Passat Variant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Opel (17 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
