On Wednesday, 10 February 2016, in the afternoon at 14:52, in Raseinių district municipality, on Stonų street near No. 2, at the junction with Dubysos street, an Opel Vectra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel (7 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings and failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. She was drunk (2.64‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
