On Thursday, 20 August 2015, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on Santariškių street near No. 55, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Mercedes-Benz E220. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
