On Tuesday, 5 January 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kauno district municipality, on S.Lozoraičio g. near No. 20, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
